Tsaghkadzor Ski Resort Ropeway
Tsakhkadzor is one of the principal centres of tourism and recreation. The resort city of Tsaghkadzor (valley of flowers) is located in the north-east, 55 km far from the capital Yerevan, at the slopes of Teghenis mountain. The city is surrounded with forests and mountains. It is famous for its various rest houses, its hotels and sport complexes.
Tsakhkadzor is known as a ski resort. A funicular rope way with 5 new stations is located on the slope of Teghenis mountain. There are several routes for skiing on the slope. There are routes for beginners, ski amateurs and for professionals.
The skiing season starts in the end of December and closes in the end of March.
